How to Play

Draw a Figure is a deceptively simple drawing challenge. Every shape looks easy — until you try to draw it perfectly freehand.

01
🎯

Pick a Shape

Choose from 9 geometric and exotic shapes: circle, triangle, square, star, infinity symbol, lightning bolt, spiral, crescent, and the letter S.

02
✏️

Draw Freehand

Use your finger to draw the shape on the canvas. Follow the ghost guide or go from memory. No rules — just you and your steady hand.

03
🧠

Get Scored

The AI analyzes your drawing across multiple criteria — symmetry, closure, proportions, smoothness — and gives you a score from 0 to 100%.

04
🏆

Level Up

Clear shapes by hitting the score threshold for each level. Complete all shapes in a level to advance. Can you reach Level 3?

Shapes & Features

Nine unique drawing challenges, each scored with a custom algorithm. No two shapes are judged the same way.

Circle

Judged on roundness, symmetry, and how well you close the loop. The classic test of a steady hand.

🔺

Triangle

Three straight sides and three sharp corners. Scored on angularity, closure, and equilateral balance.

Square

Four equal sides, four 90° angles. Easier said than done when you're drawing freehand on a touchscreen.

Star

Five sharp points, five concave arcs. The algorithm checks symmetry, spike depth, and closure.

Infinity

A continuous figure-eight. Scored on the smoothness of the crossing, lobe symmetry, and closure.

Lightning Bolt

Two sharp diagonal strokes with a dramatic zig-zag. Tests angle precision and direction changes.

🌀

Spiral

Start in the center and expand outward — or vice versa. Scored on consistent curvature and spacing.

🌙

Crescent

A curved arc that forms a moon shape. Judged on arc smoothness, taper, and symmetry.

Letter S

Two opposing arcs linked into an S. Tests double-curve smoothness, proportions, and balance.

Score Grade Verdict
95 – 100% 🏆 Absolute Perfection!
85 – 94% 🎯 Excellent!
70 – 84% 🌟 Very Good!
55 – 69% 👍 Not Bad!

Under the Hood

How Scoring Works

Every shape has its own scoring algorithm. Your drawing is analyzed across several geometric criteria weighted specifically for that shape.

Criterion 1
Closure

How well did you close the shape? A gap between your start and end point reduces this score significantly. Applies to all closed shapes.

Criterion 2
Symmetry

Is your shape balanced? The algorithm checks both horizontal and vertical symmetry axes, weighted by the expected geometry of each shape.

Criterion 3
Roundness

For circles and curves, how circular is your stroke? Measured by how closely your drawn path follows a mathematically perfect arc.

Criterion 4
Corners & Angles

For polygons (triangle, square, lightning), the sharpness and correctness of angles is measured. Rounded corners reduce the score.

Criterion 5
Smoothness

A wobbly line hurts the score. The algorithm analyzes direction variance along your stroke to detect hesitation and trembling.

Final Score
Human Curve

Raw scores pass through a "human curve" — an S-shaped function that makes mid-range attempts feel fair and rewards truly perfect strokes.

Three Levels of Difficulty

Each level raises the minimum score needed to pass a shape. Complete all 9 shapes in a level to advance.

1
Beginner
≥ 50% per shape
2
Advanced
≥ 70% per shape
3
Expert
≥ 85% per shape
